Dr. Melissa Pascucci grew up in northern New Jersey where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology and worked as a veterinary technician. She earned her veterinary degree at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in surgery and has pursued additional training in soft tissue surgery. She has had the opportunity to perform surgeries in Goa, India and on the Native American reservations in Minnesota. She has completed special training in ultrasonography and performs abdominal ultrasounds and ultrasound guided tissue sampling. She also enjoys working with shelter animals and has experience in shelter medicine through a variety of opportunities. She is Fear Free Certified and enjoys making her patients feel safe and comfortable. Veterinary medicine is a lifelong passion of hers, and she feels honored to be a part of it. Her beloved cat, Jaden, (shown in photo), was by her side throughout vet school and she has had the pleasure of caring for several amazing cats as her own pets over the years. Outside of veterinary medicine, her interests include music, theatre, yoga, dance, and hiking.
