American Animal Hospital in Randolph, N.J. is seeking a full-time, dedicated, and enthusiastic Veterinary Technician to join our practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in medicine, be client-oriented, and have strong client education skills.
Our clinic space is comfortable and provides a low stress experience for our canine/feline patients and their owners. We provide high quality service and personal attention, and pride ourselves on a friendly, family atmosphere. For those cases that require a specialist’s input, we routinely have a board-certified surgeon visit that performs those procedures. We have a large and devoted clientele and place a premium on individualized care for each patient. Our clients are progressive, forward thinkers and enjoy the broad range of conventional and holistic therapies we offer.
The technician should be comfortable obtaining lab samples (blood/urine/fecal), educating clients, taking x-rays and is excellent with medical documentation. Experience with soft tissue surgery, dentistry and moderate nursing care is a plus.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, a multi-tasker and pays attention to detail. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Animal Care Technician-Kennel Attendant
American Animal Hospital is seeking a Kennel Attendant to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming of the animals
- Assist in restraining animals for veterinary management
- Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
- Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
- Passion to help and treat animals
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
