Kennel Attendant

The American Animal Hospital is looking for a kennel attendant to join our team. Our kennel staff do more than just walk dogs, as they are also responsible to help aid the technicians and doctors with patients when requested, and maintain the hospital grounds and appearance. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a kennel and be detail oriented. Since we are a hospital first, some of the patients may require monitoring while boarding. Veterinary Technician:

American Animal Hospital is a dynamic 5-doctor practice located near Morristown, New Jersey. Our practice won the coveted Practice of Excellence Award from Veterinary Economics magazine, and has been leading the way in Stem Cell Therapy since 2005. Dr. Brian Voynick, our Hospital Director, hosts a weekly TV show, "The Pet Stop." Our hospital is furnished with state of the art equipment including a surgical laser (in use over 10 years), flexible Endoscopes, Video Otoscopes in exam rooms and treatment area, Ultrasound, Digital Radiology, Digital Dental X-Ray, most advanced IDEXX Chemistry, Electrolyte and CBC machines and complete surgical suite with continuous blood pressure, pulse ox, and ECG monitoring. Dr. Voynick and Dr. Cheng are certified in veterinary acupuncture, we augment traditional medicine with acupuncture, biopuncture, P.R.P. and herbal therapy when appropriate.

Technicians at our hospital are utilized to their fullest potential, routinely performing Intravenous Catheterizations on all Surgical and Dental Patients, taking Digital Radiographs, Blood Pressure Readings, Exam Room Assistance and Histories, Drawing Blood Samples, Dental Prophylaxis and Procedures and Assisting in Surgery.
